OUR MISSION
Our mission at The Thriving Child is to coach and equip families to be the agent of change for their child's academic, social, and behavioral issues through balancing the neurodevelopment of their brain, so they can joyfully thrive in their God-given potential
THE THRIVING CHILD PROGRAM
The Thriving Child began during the pandemic, a time when families were searching for new ways to support their children’s growth. What started as an experiment wondering if reflex integration and neurodevelopmental work could be guided effectively through a virtual format quickly showed us that not only was it possible, it could be remarkably effective. As a Reflex Integration and Neurodevelopment Specialist, consultant across public, private, and homeschool settings, and a mom of three grown children, I had both the professional expertise and personal perspective to adapt proven tools into a parent-led model. With coaching and step-by-step guidance, parents discovered they could become the primary agents of change, helping their children make progress in motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive development, executive functioning, and emotional regulation all from home. Out of this innovation, The Thriving Child was born: a program built on evidence-based practices, a deep respect for family life, and the belief that with the right support, every parent can help their child flourish.

I was 16 years old when I discovered my passion in life. When a dear friend almost lost his life, I found mine. It was clear that I wanted to be an Occupational Therapist through watching his journey.
Since then, it has been my life's work, and through the different phases of my life, I have never lost my zeal for helping others.
I am a mom of 3 kids of my own, who are grown. A son who serves in the Army, a son who is pursuing a degree in Finance at Texas Wesleyan University, and a daughter pursuing a degree in Marketing at Dallas Baptist University.
I love knitting and learned how to knit on YouTube! I'm not very good and have intended to knit many square-wash clothes that ended up looking like odd-shaped kites! LOL
I love learning and often read research articles in my pastime. I'm kind of an OT nerd!
But my very favorite thing is to watch children grow from struggling spirits to carefree spirits.
It brings me great joy!
