Our mission at The Thriving Child is to coach and equip families to be the agent of change for their child's academic, social, and behavioral issues through balancing the neurodevelopment of their brain, so they can joyfully thrive in their God-given potential.
The Thriving Child began during the pandemic, a time when families were searching for new ways to support their children’s growth. What started as an experiment wondering if reflex integration and neurodevelopmental work could be guided effectively through a virtual format quickly showed us that not only was it possible, it could be remarkably effective.
As a Reflex Integration and Neurodevelopment Specialist, consultant across public, private, and homeschool settings, and a mom of three grown children, I had both the professional expertise and personal perspective to adapt proven tools into a parent-led model. With coaching and step-by-step guidance, parents discovered they could become the primary agents of change, helping their children make progress in motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive development, executive functioning, and emotional regulation all from home.
Out of this innovation, The Thriving Child was born: a program built on evidence-based practices, a deep respect for family life, and the belief that with the right support, every parent can help their child flourish.
Our program is based in the neurodevelopment and reflex integration sciences. Built on 30 years of Occupational Therapy experience in the clinic, school and home health settings. Addressing motor, sensory, cognitive, executive functioning and emotional regulation skills, this program is a compilation of Occupational Therapy tools, Harold Blombergs Rhythymic Movements and application of the The Melillo Method techniques. One that has gained a reputation for rapid results and comprehensive attention to the whole child.
At The Thriving Child, we focus on the parent being the agent of change in their child's life. We partner with families to develop healthy brain functions. With coaching, we partner with you, leading and customizing your program as you watch your child flourish right before your eyes. No more dropping them off for interventions and "hoping" things will change. YOU get a front row seat to being the agent of change in your child's life.

We’re based in Texas, but we don’t have a physical office. Instead, we provide virtual assessments & coaching as well as online course.
Yes, it is done virtually but we have active homework you will do at home 15-30 min day.
We work asynchronously, and since every child’s needs and learning style are unique, the best way to explain the process is during assessment call. We’ll walk you through exactly how virtual sessions work, what you and your child can expect, and how the program is tailored to support their unique needs. Schedule a consultation or assessment call, and we’ll be happy to answer your questions and help you determine the best approach for your child.
We do offer discounts for families who want us to work with multiple children within one family, otherwise we offer payment plans we can offer you.
We don’t currently accept insurance plans directly. However, we’d be happy to provide a superbill (available only for Guided Course Basic/Premium) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
And that's just a peek at what we offer. Subscribe for Newsletters & Latest Updates!
