Tactile-Based Brain Activation

Equipment: Vibrating toothbrush and self adhesive wrap
ALTERNATE VIBRATION TOOL: Frida Mom Lactation Massager
**ask your coach for alternative forms of vibration that are available but will run anywhere from ($15 to $200)
How to achieve maximum benefit of Tactile
- Use in conjunction with one or more other brain activations (sound, smell, color, light)
- Use before focused attention is needed for an activity
- Use to assist in calming anxiety - great before bed or after a full day at school or overstimulation
- Use during exercise sessions for maximum brain activation and balancing.
Frequency:
- 1 x daily
- Duration of homework session on the OPPOSITE ARM AND LEG of hemisphere weakness
R Hemisphere weakness = Left leg and arm
L Hemisphere weakness = Right leg and arm
**This is specific to hemisphere weakness so the child does not choose which side to place the vibration on**
