Supine Rocking

Technique: ( Roly Poly) rolling forward and back with chin tucked to the chest without loss of balance to the right or left side, maintaining a center of gravity.

Frequency:

  • 1-2 x daily
  • 20 repetitions working up to 30 max

Undesired reactions:

  • Unable to pull the head off the floor
  • Head lag from laying position to head flexion
  • Not able to engage the legs to assist in pulling up into a seated position
  • Holding breath
  • Unable to coordinate head arm and movements
  • Unable to maintain a center of gravity/falling over
