This exercise is a continuation of the Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR)
Technique:
- Prop on Elbows
- Cobra
- 3 Cat stretch
- Hip wiggle
- Reverse order of 1-4
Frequency:
- 1-2 x daily 3 cycles
Undesired observations: Exercise is not complete until the below observations or gone:
- Unable to keep the back flat. It either dips or arches.
- Head movement is not synchronized with the body movements.
- Difficulty coordinating inhaling and exhaling with the movements.
- Arms do not remain straight throughout movements.
- Feet lift off the floor or toes curl
- A rest break is required
- Unable to remember the order of movements independently
- When one isolated body part is moving, other parts move as well.
