This exercise is a continuation of work for the Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR)
Technique:
- parent is kneeling in front of child
- with the child's elbow soft or "bent"
- head is in neutral
- turn the child's head so that they are looking up toward the ceiling plus 1/4" more
Frequency:
- 10 cycles
Undesired observations: Exercise is not complete until the below observations or gone:
- Elbow collapses on opposite side of the head turning
- Can't support upper body weight
